Do we accommodate children?
We accommodate children above 12 that are keen to enjoy the Tasting menu experience! Please note we do not cater with a ‘children’s menu’.
If you are dining in the private room then this age can be adjusted at the time of booking
Do you cater to allergies and dietary requirements?
Chef Simon will always try his best to do so but please be aware this may not be possible so let us know at the time of booking to avoid disappointment. As well, please be aware we do not cater to ‘dislikes’. We encourage you to try everything and enjoy your food journey as prepared by Chef Simon!
Can we mix menus?
It is ok for different diners to have different tasting menus, however if someone is dining on the Taste of WOOD Menu this is not possible
Can we request a particular table?
Although we try to accommodate all requests please note we are unable to promise particular tables. Please enjoy the table we have selected for you!
Can we come early for drinks?
If you are dining from our 7 or 10 course tasting menus we ask that you arrive no more than 15 minutes before your allotted table time, the first part of your dining experience is served in our lounge and you will have time to have a drink with your snacks before going to your table
Can we share a tasting menu or a wine flight?
Sharing tasting menus is not permitted, we will allow sharing a wine flight between two people although this will only be served in single glasses
Is there a Dress Code?
We ask that you wear smart casual attire, sportswear is not permitted
What is the largest table you can accommodate?
Currently due to COVID Government guidelines we are operating a 4 person per table maximum capacity
Do you accept walk-ins?
We may accept walk-ins depending on time, stock levels and available resource working at the time. We ask that you book via email@example.com to avoid disappointment
Is the food Halal?
No our food is not Halal
Can I make a reservation via telephone?
We ask that you book via firstname.lastname@example.org
Hold long is the table held for?
We will hold your table for a maximum of 20 minutes, if you arrive late you may have to go straight to your table and miss out on our lounge service. You may also have to wait for customers arriving on time to be seated first
How do I pay the deposit for the reservation?
Once booked one of your reservations team will call you
Is there a time limit for each sitting?
The allotted time slots for each menu are as follows
Taste of WOOD – 90 Minute Maximum Time
5 Courses – 2 Hours
7 Courses – 2 ½ Hours
10 Courses – 3 ½ Hours
If you are dining after 19:30 then the table will be yours for the evening
If you are dining from our 10 course menu at lunchtime then you must be seated by 12:30
